This smoothie is made with oats, milk, almonds and date with vanilla flavor. Wow the result is a nutrition packed drink which is absolutely yum!

Milk skimmed – 1 cup + ¼ cup
Dates – ¼ cup (pitted – halved)
Oats – 2 tablespoon
Almonds – 5-6 (chopped)
Chia seeds – ½ teaspoon
Vanilla extract – ¼ teaspoon
Ice – ¼ – ½ cup (crushed)
- Soak chia seeds in ¼ cup milk. Keep overnight in refrigerator.
- In the morning blend 1-cup milk with dates, oats, vanilla extract & almonds well together first. Now add the chia-milk and mix well. Refrigerate for half hour.
- Blend again for a few seconds with crushed ice and serve.
- If you think smoothie is too thick, add little more milk.
Note: Serve chilled smoothie for breakfast or any time of the day, it is damn delicious & healthy!
