It is a perfect breakfast for others too who just want a quick, light & fulfilling drink which helps them feel full till lunch and is healthy too. I saw this recipe from a Celebrity Hollywood trainer Harley Pasternak, I tried it and tweaked it a bit adding a few ingredients more, I quite liked it and wanted to share with my readers too, so check out!

Milk skimmed – ½ cup
Greek yoghurt – non-fat – ¾ cup
Banana – 1 (peeled & chopped)
Red Apple – 1 (chopped)
Almonds – 5-6 (chopped)
Flax seed – ¼ teaspoon
Cinnamon – ¼ teaspoon or one pinch per taste (optional)
Ice – ¼ cup (crushed)
- Blend the almonds; flax seed with little milk first and then add all other ingredients, blend again to form an even smoothie. If you think its too thick, you can add some more milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Pour in a glass and enjoy a healthy & delicious smoothie.
Note: you can add some more fruits or nuts if you like. For making this smoothie even your home made yoghurt will also work, try to take out all the yoghurt water first before adding home made yoghurt. Enjoy!
