Step-by-Step Easy & Quick Recipe –

Prep Time           Cook Time              Total Time                   Yields

15 mins                  10 mins                 25 mins                 3-4 Serving

Ingredients:

Fresh Spinach – 500 grams (washed and cleaned properly a few times)

Garlic cloves 3 (finely chopped)

Onion – small 1 (finely shopped)

Toasted white sesame – 1 tablespoon

Salt per taste

Chili flakes

Oil – 1 teaspoon + for deep frying

Instructions:

  • Take spinach leaves and layer them on top of each other, now roll them and thinly slice them starting from one end to the other, basically chiffonade them.
  • Now heat oil in a deep pan or wok and add the sliced spinach and deep fry, once they become dark green in color and the leave slices wilt and become short and it is cooked and crispy, take out and place on a plate with paper towel, so that excess oil is removed.
  • In another pan now heat a teaspoon of oil and add finely chopped onion & garlic. When the onion starts to become golden, add salt & chili flakes.
  • Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with toasted white sesame.

Note Crispy crunchy spinach is ready and can be served as a side dish or as an appetizer, enjoy!
