Easy Eggless Sponge Cake

Cakes are every ones favorite sweet baked dessert; right from kids to adults, all love them. Some people though have restrictions of having normal cakes due to eggs being one of the main ingredients.

So for all those of my wonderful reader’s who cannot have a normal sponge cake with eggs, here is delicious & easy eggless cake recipe. Try out and enjoy a super moist & melting in the mouth eggless cake.

Step-by-Step Easy & Quick Recipe –

All-purpose flour (Maida) – 2 ½ cups + for dusting

Baking soda – 1 teaspoon (leveled)

Soda bi carbonate – 1 teaspoon (leveled)

Butter – 250 grams (salted & at room temperature)

Condensed milk – (1 tin)

Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon

Sprite drink – 300 ml


  • Pre heat 150°C (300°F).
  • In a mixing bowl add Maida, baking soda and soda bicarbonate and mix well. After that sieve this mix well 3-4 times.
  • Mean time grease the cake tin and dust with Maida, keep aside.
  • Now beat butter and condensed milk together with electric mixer till it is smooth & even and folds can be seen, add vanilla essence, and after that add Maida & soda dry ingredients to this mix. Add sprite and mix well, ensure that batter is slightly runny not very thick and no lumps are formed & seen in the batter.
  • Transfer the batter to baking dish and bake at 125°C (255°F) for 35-40 min, check after 20 min if its done from inside, check by inserting a tooth pick, if still wet bake more till its done n tooth pick comes out clean.

Note: Enjoy a moist delicious cake all by yourself or share with family & friends. You can do nice icing too if you like on it. Enjoy!
