Sautéed Mushrooms with three-color Bell peppers


Mushrooms sautéed with all three-color bell peppers makes an incredible delicious & lovely colorful yet very simple dish.

It is a very simple & easy to cook dish. It can be served as a side dish or it can be served with fish, steak, roast or even can be served on top of toasts or bruschetta. Anyhow it is a great dish. Try out!

Mushrooms – 450 grams (sliced lengthwise – each mushroom cut into 3-4 pieces)

Bell peppers Green – 1 (cored & diced)

Bell pepper Yellow – 1 (cored & diced)

Bell pepper Red – 1 (cored & diced)

Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)

Garlic cloves – 8-10 (finely chopped)

Salt per taste

Ground black pepper

Olive oil – 2 tablespoons


  • Heat oil in a pan, when the garlic is glazed, add onions. Sauté for 1-2 minutes and add mushrooms & bell peppers together at the same time.
  • Cook till there is no water left in the pan. The bell peppers should be medium cooked & should be crunchy so you can discard the excess if there from mushrooms.
  • After all water dries up add salt & ground pepper. Mix all together well.

Note: Serve hot and this simple, easy & delicious dish goes well with fish. Enjoy!
