Step-by-Step Easy & Quick Recipe –
Prep Time Cook Time Total Time Yields
20 mins 11 mins 1 day 31 mins 6 servings
All-purpose flour – 280 grams
Butter – 170 grams (melted, at room temperature) (can use spread or Crisco)
Cater sugar – 70 grams (white)
Brown sugar – 100 grams
Egg – 1 + 1 egg yolk
Baking powder – 2 teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract– 2 teaspoon
Corn flour – 1 ½ teaspoon
- Mix together butter (or Crisco or spread) with sugar and eggs. The butter should not be hot at the time of mixing to avoid cooking of eggs.
- Now add the all-purpose flour, salt & vanilla extract. Chocolate chunks can be added too per choice. Mix all well together.
- Now make small balls of 40 grams each and refrigerate over night.
- Next day preheat oven to 160° Now place the cookies on a baking tray and cook for 11 minutes, not more. The cookies might seem not fully well cooked; basically they can be termed under baked. While cooling down after taking out from oven though they will reach their required cooking texture and will stay soft if stored in a tin box for some time.
Note: Delicious homemade cookies are ready. Serve with a hot cup of tea or coffee or milk. Enjoy!
