Cookies are every ones favorite, we can buy cookies any time but real fun is when you make them yourself at home. It is truly a very satisfying feeling to see oneself baking delicious cookies. Make them and then you can treat your family & friends with these great delicious cookies with a hot cup of tea, coffee and surely kids too will love these cookies with a warm cup of milk.

These cookies are made with all-purpose flour mixed with butter, white & brown sugar & eggs & chocolate chunks with vanilla flavor. Try this wonderful cookie recipe from our guest chef Joelle Paku. Enjoy!

Step-by-Step Easy & Quick Recipe –

Ingredients:

All-purpose flour – 280 grams

Butter – 170 grams (melted, at room temperature) (can use spread or Crisco)

Cater sugar – 70 grams (white)

Brown sugar – 100 grams

Egg – 1 + 1 egg yolk

Baking powder – 2 teaspoon

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Vanilla extract– 2 teaspoon

Corn flour – 1 ½ teaspoon

Chocolate chunks

Instructions:

  • Mix together butter (or Crisco or spread) with sugar and eggs. The butter should not be hot at the time of mixing to avoid cooking of eggs.

  • Now add the all-purpose flour, salt & vanilla extract. Chocolate chunks can be added too per choice. Mix all well together.

  • Now make small balls of 40 grams each and refrigerate over night.

  • Next day preheat oven to 160° Now place the cookies on a baking tray and cook for 11 minutes, not more. The cookies might seem not fully well cooked; basically they can be termed under baked. While cooling down after taking out from oven though they will reach their required cooking texture and will stay soft if stored in a tin box for some time.

Note: Delicious homemade cookies are ready. Serve with a hot cup of tea or coffee or milk. Enjoy!
