Insalata Caprese, well it’s a perfect Italian antipasto. The name Insalata Caprese in Italian means “the salad of Capri”. It is an incredible tasty & super simple Italian traditional salad made with tomato, basil & fresh mozzarella cheese, dressed with olive oil & seasoned with salt & fresh ground black pepper.

As this salad is made with very simple ingredients so it’s very important to use best quality of fresh tomato & basil and also use fresh mozzarella. It works as an antipasto, an appetizer, a salad or even some times a main dish. It is my all time favorite dish, try out and you will love it too!
