Chocolate & Croissant Creamy Pudding

There are a lot of puddings which are commonly known but this one is slightly different as its not just a simple bread pudding but it’s a croissant pudding & that too a chocolate & vanilla flavoured pudding. Well then, it surely is something to look forward to, very delicious and very easy to cook.

To cook this pudding all you need to do is mix egg yolks, sugar, milk, cream & salt, add vanilla & nutmeg flavours and finally combine with croissants and simply bake and serve when its done. So try out and enjoy a delicious & easily doable pudding.

Croissants – 3

Chocolate – 100 grams

Egg yolks – 3 (large)

Sugar – ½ cup

Milk – 1 cup

Heavy cream – ½ cup

Vanilla extract – ½ teaspoon

Salt – ¼ teaspoon

Nutmeg powder – ½ teaspoon

Butter – unsalted for greasing the baking dish


  • Pre heat oven to 190°C (375°F). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish with unsalted butter.
  • Now in a large mixing bowl, add & mix egg yolks, milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla extract & nutmeg powder. After mixing well add croissants & chocolate & combine well.
  • Now transfer this mixture to the pre greased baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes till its well set, check by inserting a fork or knife in the pudding and if it comes out clean, then its done.
  • Take out of the oven and let it cool, serve at room temperature.

Note: Delicious Croissants chocolate pudding is ready to be served, can be served along with tea or as a dessert or during breakfast. A dollop of whipped cream can be added to the pudding before serving. Bon Apatite!
