Christmas time is here and we all in high spirits and enjoy the winter chill. There is a lot of partying also happening during this time. To counter the winter chill, everyone loves a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallow.
What we generally don’t make is the hot chocolate with maple syrup, well that is something very interesting here. All you need to do is to combine the ingredients and boil & simmer with marshmallows melted too in the hot chocolate. Then just sit back and enjoy. Try this!

Milk – 4 cups
Water – ¼ cup
Sugar – to taste (as maple syrup is added too)
Cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon
Salt – 1 pinch
Butter – 1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
Maple syrup – 1 tablespoon
Marshmallow – 12
- In a sauce pan add sugar, salt & cocoa powder, mix well & then add butter & milk, bring to a boil and add 8 marshmallows. Lower the heat and simmer till the marshmallows melt. Take off heat.
- Pour into cups and add one marshmallow in each cup.
