Top 5 Comfort Foods For A Bad Day

comfort-food

There are days when my answer for everything is “Ughhhh”. Days where I’ve missed deadlines or days which were just unexplainably bad. No amount of binge-watching on Netflix could make these days better.

I am sure everyone has had such days and moods and they just suck the energy out of you! I barely feel like getting out of bed or even remember to drink enough water. But I do like indulging in comfort food.

For me, comfort food is far far away from gourmet or food with complicated flavors. Comfort foods are my “safer”, “tried and tested” food options which are definitely homecooked (or ordered in, hehe).

Comfort foods can be something you ate as a child or have a significant nostalgic memory attached to them! Any aroma can trigger a memory. So, it’s one of the reasons why the smell of food, in general, can bring up memories!

Take a whiff of your favorite meal and see what comes up!
